Sound Bath Healing
There is a point past which no amount of trying to relax works. Sound bypasses the effort entirely — the nervous system responds to vibration before the mind has a say in it.
What it is
A sound bath is a session in which you lie still while a practitioner plays singing bowls, gongs and other instruments around you. The sustained tones and overtones slow brainwave activity and shift the body out of a sympathetic stress state.
What it helps with
Overstimulation, difficulty switching off, disrupted sleep, anxious thought loops, emotional exhaustion, and the specific kind of tiredness that rest alone does not touch.
What a session looks like
You lie down, covered and supported, and do nothing at all. Sessions run as facilitated group sound baths — including our full moon gatherings — or as one-to-one sessions combined with clinical hypnotherapy.
What people ask about Sound Bath Healing
None. A sound bath asks nothing of you except that you lie down. It is often the easiest entry point for people who find seated meditation difficult.
Yes, and it is common. The benefit does not depend on staying awake.
Yes — including full moon sound baths at our Bijwasan space. See our workshops and events page for the current schedule.
